Our frequently asked questions will assist and guide you with any queries you may have regarding our loan products and services. For your convenience these FAQ’s are also provided in Afrikaans, Xhosa, Sesotho and Zulu.

Customers may apply for a Fund4Biz business loan in the following ways:

  • Online – Log into the Fund4Biz website www.fund4biz.co.za, click on APPLY NOW and complete the online loan application.
  • Via SMS – Use our USSD facility *124*5656# and follow the simple step-by-step instructions to apply.
  • Via email to cs@fund4biz.co.za. A loan application will be emailed back to you for completion and submission together with supporting documents.
  • By phoning our call centre on 087 554 0505.
  • A valid SA ID of business owner (if sole proprietorship)
  • Valid SA IDs of all members and directors (if a company or close corporation)
  • Relevant CIPC registration documents (if a company or close corporation)
  • Official letter signed by all members and directors authorising the loan application ((if a company or close corporation)
  • Proof of residence for business owner (if sole proprietorship)
  • Proof of residence for all members and directors (if a company or close corporation)
  • Business bank statements for 6 months.
  • Proof of business income.
  • A valid cell phone number for business owner (if sole proprietorship)
  • Valid SA IDs of all members and directors (if a company or close corporation)
  • A valid SA bank account
  • Business owner, members and directors must all be 18 years or older.

Yes. You will need to create a profile which can only be accessed using your ID number and a unique One-Time-Pin (OTP) which will be sent directly to your cellphone.

All you need to do is log into your profile using your ID Number and the unique One-Time-Pin (OTP) which will be sent directly to your cellphone and follow the easy instruction.

For your security, PIN numbers are completely private. Please click on the ‘Resend OTP link’ and a new unique One-Time-Pin (OTP) will be sent directly to the cellphone number you registered with.

In order to update your details, please contact one of our friendly Customer Service agents to assist you on 087 554 0505.

An OTP can only be sent to the registered number you provided when registering. Please request a new One-Time-Pin (OTP) when you have access to your cellphone.

A loan offer will be prepared for you which will give you an indication of the loan amount you may qualify for subject to completion of our affordability assessment. The loan amount may change subject to additional credit checks performed once your application has been completed and submitted via the Fund4biz Website.

We offer loans of up to R250 000, based on the outcome of your affordability assessment which considers factors such as your business income and expenses, your business and personal credit profile, and payment behaviour.  Loans above R250 000 can be considered in special cases.

Your loan will be paid out within 72 business hours after approval to your nominated bank account.

  • Log into your profile using your ID Number and upload the documentation online.
  • Email your documents to docs@fund4biz.co.za with your SA ID number in the subject line after applying
  • Fax your documents to 086 537 9911 with the SA ID number of the business owner o director noted in writing as reference after applying.

You may call our Fund4biz contact centre on 087 554 0505 or use our USSD facility *124*5656# to obtain a settlement quote. You may then make payment via the following options before your given expiry date:

  • Direct Deposit
  • EFT

The settlement quote provided to you by Fund4biz is valid for three business days from date of request, and the settlement balance must be paid in full before such time.

Non-payment will have a negative impact on your credit record.

Your settlement quote includes the unpaid balance of your loan, as well as all unpaid interest and fees which accrue up to the settlement date which may not yet have been added to your account.

Yes, your loan term may reduce should you make additional payments, depending on the amounts paid and the term of the loan.

You can change your debit order pay date or bank account details in one of three ways:

  1. Log into your online profile, on Your Active Loans page, scroll down and select the change my payment details link. Select your chosen bank and add the account number and/or select a new payment date; or
  2. Log into your online profile, select the My Details tab at the top right of your screen. Scroll down the page and click on the change payment details option. Select your chosen bank and add the account number and/or select a new payment date; or
  3. You may call our Fund4biz contact centre on 087 554 0505 and request to update your details.

Please note that your respective bank may require you to approve a DebiCheck or similar Authentication message when you opt to change your debit order pay date or bank account details.

On request you can receive your loan documents in Afrikaans, Sesotho, isiZulu and isiXhosa. Terms and conditions in these languages are also available on our website.
